Hello again!
The past couple months have been a little rough. I wouldn’t say I have been complacent, but I haven’t worked as hard a I should towards my goals. Work stress had been piling up and then as an added stress I got laid off due to budget cuts and my position being eliminated. This was really a blessing in disguise since the position was not a positive part of my life.
I took a month off to rest and recoup and am now back in the job searching market. School is right around the corner as is the Warrior Dash 5k run and I’m stepping up my training now to try to prepared for this fall.
Thankfully over the past month of rest I didn’t gain any of the weight I had lost back! It’s such a wonderful feeling to step on the scale again after a long hiatus from any semblance of a workout routine or diet and see that you at least haven’t back slid. In fact, I lost a couple of pounds. Today I created this fun little weight loss tracker to keep myself motivated towards my weight goals. I’m excited to move the little clothes pins down into the “Destroyed” section!
With only three months left until the run I have some weight to kill and some muscle to build!
